How to get your UCT Credentials

You will earn your credential by:

Completing our rigorous executive-focused training from a UCT accredited coach training program

Engage in at least 10 hours of elite mentor coaching

. Pass our comprehensive Leadership Competency Assessment (LCA)

Our Leadership Competency Assessment(LCA) comprises of a multiple-choice examination based on UCT competencies. It is where you demonstrate the knowledge acquired through the leadership development frameworks, executive coaching methodologies and corporate ethics acquired from our coach Training program.

The credentials have a validity of three years. Completing 10 mentor hours and 40 hours of continuing education keeps your credential alive.

Requirements for Professional Leadership Coach (PLC)

  • Completion of an Accredited Executive Certification Program (AECP)
  • Completion of a minimum of 500 hours (400 paid) specialized training in corporate transformation and leadership psychology
  • A minimum of 25 clients starting your unique coaching system.
  • At least 50 hours must take place within 24 hours of your credential application submission.
  • Completion of Leadership Competency Assessment (LCA)
